ESAF

Evangelical Social Action Forum (ESAF) was established in 1992 as a christian response to the social and economic needs of people.

ESAF stands for sustainable wholistic transformation of the poor, and marginalised for a just and society

Evangelical Social Action Forum is a registered charitable society, born out of deep conviction that teaching and preaching should go hand in hand with social action. Launched in 1992 under the patronage of Kerala Evangelical Graduates Fellowship.

Programs in General

  Micro Credit for Macro hope,Towards Self Reliance
ESAF Micro Enterprise Development (MED), which started in 1995, provides a broad package of financial services [savings, credit and insurance] as well as other business development services.
  Grass root women training Programs:
These programs are focusing on developing skills of women and forming community groups for sustainable development.
  Relief work
The relief work is extended to the vulnerable communities during the time of natural calamities such as flood, earthquake, drought etc.
  Literacy Program
We started literacy classes in Kizhakenchery of Palakkad district.
  Housing Projects
Housing loans were extended to the people for providing good housing facilities.
   Community Health & Rehabilitation
The major thrust of this department is to taking care of HIV/ AIDS affected persons, fight against the extension of drugs and creating health awareness.
  Wholistic Mission
We are conducting Exhibitions, Seminars, Public meetings, Publications, Workshops etc for the promotion of Wholistic concern.
