ESAF Microfinance and Investments (P) Ltd (EMFIL), operates in 6 states in India through 105 branches spread across 30 districts. We offer a wide range of micro services to more than 2,50,000 clients. The company provides both financial and non-financial services to these marginalised people.

Our customized financial services, help the poor to meet their requirements on time. The services are delivered through Joint Liability Groups organized in each area called SHGs. Micro Finance Enterprises Development (MED) plays a critical role in the development of economy, particularly, in those economies which are undergoing transition from traditional subsistence to a modern industrial economy.

ESAF started Micro Enterprises Development [MED] programs in the year 1995. We have initiated several grass root level development programs, which aimed at economic self-reliance among the poor. Our Micro Enterprises Development Division, provides a broad package of Financial and Business Development Services to the society especially the economically challenged men and women.
