ESAF Microfinance and Investments (P) Ltd (EMFIL), operates in 5 states in India through 95 branches spread across 26 districts. To almost 2, 50, 000 families the company offers a wide range of micro services adequate for their livelihood. The company provides both financial and non-financial services to these marginalized people.

The customized financial services, offered by the company, help the poor to meet their requirements on time. The services are delivered through joint liability groups organized in each area called SHGs. Micro Finance Enterprises Development plays a critical role in the development of economy, particularly, in those economies which are undergoing transition from traditional subsistence to a modern industrial economy.

ESAF started Micro Enterprises Development [MED] programs in the year 1995. We have initiated several grass root level development programs, which aimed at economic self-reliance among the poor. MED provides a broad package of financial and business development services to the society especially the economically challenged men and women.
