Why Samraksha ?

Children are the most vulnerable victims of poverty, migration, illiteracy, ignorance among the parents etc. These lead to ill-health, neglect, abuse and exploitation which ultimately block the survival of the children. Most of the children in rural areas engaged in cattle-rearing, taking care of siblings etc. They are also easy victims of child labour, child marriage, sexual abuse and drugs.

We undertook the responsibility of the total well-being of the children as they are the hope and future of our country. Samraksha provides opportunities for children to grow through education, health, social security and supporting services. The Samraksha Child Development Program of ESAF has been initiated in Gujarath and Jharkhand.
