* In the year 1999 we worked on a computer for the first time.
Career counseling and Employment Guidance Programmes, Promoting income generating self-employment schemes and creating awareness about the dignity of labour.
* Seminar on Street Children conducted by EFICOR in 1992,and another seminar on Banking with the poor, Micro Enterprise Development hosted by EFICOR gave insights into the problems of the deprived millions
* 1992 June ESAF came with its first programme on career Guidance at Christavasramam, Manganam for 30 fresh graduates and graduating students.
In 1993 September a weekend Seminar on “ Development on Evangelical Perspective” was conducted at Kottayam.

HISTORY OF ESAF
* In April 1991 a paper on wholistic development was presented at the KEGF annual conference at Alwaye.
* On 25th June 1991, trusting in Lord, it was decided to come up with a new charitable society by name “Evangelical Social Action Forum”.
* 11th March 1992, under Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act. ESAF was registered.
* Mr. Jacob Samuel suggested the name "ESAF".
ESAF at its inception had 5 life members, 7 annual members and 8 honorary members.
* Its founder president was Rev. Itty Mathew. He was assisted by Miss. J. Danabai as vice president, Mr. K Paul Thomas as Secretary, Mr. Jacob Samuel as joint Secretary and Arun Ramakrishnan as Treasurer.
1992-1995 was a period of study.
* Life of Jesus Christ and Word of God was our only leading light.
In 1994 ESAF had its first voluntary staff.
