ESAF Stands For..

As a God of love and justice, He is concerned also about the unjust structures that perpetuate poverty and oppression. All human beings have both the right to work and the duty to work, because it is through our work, through enterprise, that we are able to use our divinely given abilities to participate creatively with God in the development of the community and of the Kingdom of God.

Vision

Evangelical Social Action Forum (ESAF) was established in 1992 as a christian response to the social and economic needs of people.

ESAF stands for sustainable wholistic transformation of the poor, and marginalised for a just and society

Evangelical Social Action Forum is a registered charitable society, born out of deep conviction that teaching and preaching should go hand in hand with social action. Launched in 1992 under the patronage of Kerala Evangelical Graduates Fellowship.

By providing opportunities to the poor for enterprise, jobs and ownership of resources, the micro enterprise development programmes are empowering the poor in ways that are consistent with fulfilling the purpose of God for their lives and their communities. It's also our responsibility to God as citizens of the country to contribute to its welfare and development. We are also aware of the resources God has given us in terms of talents, skills and even finance, which could contribute to the benefit of those who are in need.

ESAF Mission

ESAF motivation for involvement is the call of the Kingdom of God to bring wholeness and abundance of life to all human beings. The God of the Bible is one who has acted in the history of various people, families and nations to lift up the poor, to respond to the cry of the oppressed and to bring down the wicked. He not only acts on their behalf but also identifies with them.
